Pecans

Pecans are a rich source of energy, and carry 690 calories per 100g. They are rich in oleic acid  and phenolic anti-oxidants, they also help lower bad cholesterol, and increase good cholesterol. They are an excellent source of vitamin E, riboflavin, niacin, thiamine, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6, and folates. In addition, they have a rich source of minerals such as, manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and selenium.
